As a self-proclaimed travel junkie, one of my favorite things to do during my journeys is participate in a guided tour.  The people you meet, places you see, and things you learn are beyond compare.  If you have participated in these sorts of tours, I'm sure you agree with me 110%.  But have you ever wondered how they came to be?  Who exactly came up with the idea of showing people around a certain place for a set price?  And if you haven't had the opportunity to go on one of these tours, have you ever wondered what they might be like?  Well wonder no further, you have come to the right place.
